This 8-day tour begins and ends in Tangier, offering a journey through northern and central Morocco. You will explore the blue-washed streets of Chefchaouen, the medieval medina of Fes, and the vibrant red city of Marrakech. The route crosses the Middle Atlas Mountains and includes visits to Casablanca’s iconic Hassan II Mosque. With guided tours of Fes and Marrakech, free time for exploration, and scenic drives through diverse landscapes, this tour provides a well-rounded Moroccan experience.
Upon your arrival at Tangier airport or ferry terminal, you will be transferred to your hotel. This bustling port city was once a playground for international socialites, including writers, artists, and musicians. Today, it remains a lively and cosmopolitan Mediterranean city. You have free time to explore its museums and historic sites before your overnight stay.
Today you head to Chefchaouen, a beautiful blue and white-washed Andalusian town nestled in the Rif Mountains. This relaxed city features small winding alleyways and market squares where local women from the surrounding Rif region sell their handmade products. You will spend the night at a hotel with dinner included.
You travel to Fes, Morocco’s most fascinating city and the world’s last surviving medieval city. A guided tour takes you through the Medina with its bustling souks. You will stop at the Royal Palace gateway, the 9th-century Karouine Mosque and University, and the tomb of the city’s founder, Moulay Idriss II. Lunch is served at a traditional restaurant within the old Medina. The afternoon continues with visits to the Najarine Fountain, the Bab Boujloud gate, the old Harem gardens, and the Batha Museum. On the way back to the hotel, you stop for a panoramic view of the city.
You depart for Marrakech, crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains. The route passes through the Berber towns of Ifrane and Azrou. You have free time for an optional lunch break and relaxation in Beni Mellal, one of Morocco’s agricultural centers. You arrive in Marrakech by late afternoon and check into your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay are included.
Today you visit historic Marrakech. The tour includes the Menara Gardens, the Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia Minaret, and the Majorelle Gardens. These gardens were created by French painter Jacques Majorelle and later became the residence of Yves Saint-Laurent. In the afternoon, you explore the famous Djemaa El Fna square and its surrounding souks and handicraft quarters. Moroccan tea is served at the Maison de la Photographie, a riad featuring an amazing collection of photographs from 1870 to 1950. This evening, you have the option to attend a Fantasia show with dinner. Overnight stay includes dinner at the hotel.
The morning is free for last-minute shopping or relaxation. In the afternoon, you depart for Casablanca. Dinner and overnight stay are at the hotel.
After breakfast, you visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque. You then depart towards the north, stopping along the way to take photos, relax, and enjoy the scenery. You arrive in Tangier by late afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay are at the hotel.
On the final day of your 8-day tour, you will be transferred to Tangier airport for your departure flight.

Day 5 (Guided Tour of Marrakech).
Pack comfortable clothes, sturdy walking shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat for the daytime. Evenings and early mornings in the desert and mountains can be very cold, especially from October to April. Warm layers, a jacket, and a scarf are essential.
