Your visit includes two main sights: the Hercules Cave and Cape Spartel. You then traverse the stunning Rif Mountains until you reach Chefchaouen, one of Morocco’s most beautiful cities. This blue town is known for its natural beauty and unique culture, blending Berber, Arab, and Andalusian heritage.

Today is dedicated to exploring the cultural heart of Morocco. Your adventure begins at Bab Boujloud, the famous blue gate leading into the old Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site. You will navigate its 9,000 winding alleys, a maze rich with history and charm. You immerse yourself in the lively marketplace, watching artisans craft copper, weave fabrics, and dye leather at the historic Chouara Tannery. then admire the tilework at the Bou Inania Madrasa and explore Al-Qarawiyyine, the oldest university in the world.

Your tour also includes a visit to the Royal Palace, established in 1276, which has served as both royal residence and center of government. You explore the Nejjarine Museum before making your way to one of the panoramic viewpoints overlooking the city. You then return to your riad for the night.

Day 3: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert

The third day marks your departure from Fes towards the Sahara Desert. The journey takes you from bustling city streets to lush green forests until you reach Ifrane, a town famous for its pristine streets, refreshing climate, and charming Alpine-style homes. Near Ifrane, you arrive at one of Morocco’s largest cedar forests. Stop to stretch your legs, take photos, and hopefully spot monkeys playing among the ancient trees. After passing through Midelt and enjoying lunch, you notice the green mountains gradually give way to a more arid landscape.

You soon reach the Ziz Valley, a sprawling oasis with thousands of palm trees offering breathtaking views. The real enchantment begins when you reach the edge of the Sahara. You trade your vehicle for a camel trek across the dunes. You stop to watch the sunset before continuing to the desert camp. There, you savor a traditional dinner served under a blanket of stars. Later, you gather around the campfire to listen to desert stories before resting in your private tent.

Your day begins with a breathtaking sunrise and a hearty breakfast at the camp. You then set off towards the Dades Valley, passing through the lively Rissani souk. The air is filled with the aromas of spices, and you see fresh dates, handmade crafts, and livestock. This authentic experience is followed by a visit to a fossil workshop in Erfoud. As you continue, the stark desert scenery gives way to the lush Tinghir Oasis, lined with palm trees and quaint villages. You arrive at the stunning Todra Gorges, where towering red cliffs rise up to 300 meters on either side.

This is a must-see spot on any Moroccan tour. By afternoon, you reach the breathtaking Dades Valley, famous for its winding roads, verdant oases, and striking red-rock formations adorned with ancient kasbahs. You check into your cozy hotel and enjoy a delicious dinner. You then spend a tranquil night surrounded by the awe-inspiring beauty of nature.

Day 5: Dades Valley – Rose Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas – Marrakech

Today you set off along the iconic Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. First, you explore the Valley of Roses, where the air is filled with the sweet fragrance of blooming flowers. You then traverse the lush Skoura Oasis, a historic caravan stop, and may visit a nomadic family for tea and a glimpse into their culture. Next, you head to Ouarzazate, often called the Hollywood of Africa. You explore Morocco’s largest film studios, where many famous movies and TV shows have been produced.  also visit the historic Taourirt Kasbah, an ancient fortified palace.

Continues to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou. Its impressive towers, walls, and narrow passageways have attracted filmmakers seeking the perfect backdrop for their movies. In the afternoon, you navigate the High Atlas Mountains via the breathtaking Tizi n’Tichka Pass.
