This 10-day tour begins and ends in Casablanca. It offers a comprehensive journey through Morocco’s imperial cities, the blue streets of Chefchaouen, and the Sahara Desert. You will explore the political capital Rabat and the cultural heart of Fes with expert guides. The route crosses the Riff and Atlas Mountains, with stops in alpine towns and cedar forests. A camel trek leads to a night in a desert camp near Erg Chebbi. The tour concludes with a full day discovering the vibrant city of Marrakech before returning to Casablanca.
Welcome to Morocco. Upon your arrival at Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca, you will be transferred to your hotel to rest. If time allows, you may visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque before checking in, helping to maximize your schedule for the following day.
After breakfast, you drive to Rabat, the political capital of Morocco. A short stop includes visits to the Hassan Tower, the Mohammed V Mausoleum, and the historic Oudayas Kasbah. The journey then continues towards the blue city of Chefchaouen. You will pass through several villages and towns, stopping for lunch in Ouazzane. From there, you cross the Riff Mountains for approximately one hour before arriving in Chefchaouen, where you will spend the night.
The morning is free for you to enjoy the blue-washed streets of Chefchaouen at your own pace. This picturesque town offers many beautiful spots for photos. Around 11:30 AM, you depart for Fes, the oldest imperial city in Morocco. The drive takes approximately four hours, with several stops along the way for scenic views and photographs. You arrive in the Fes Medina by evening and check into a traditional Moroccan Riad for the night.
Your private tour continues with a guided exploration of Fes. You will walk through the Medina with a local guide, discovering the city founded by Idriss II. Fes is known as the center of Arab-Muslim culture. Your visit includes the Mosque of the Andalusians, the famous tanneries, and historic Medersas. You will also explore the new part of the city, including the Royal Palace and a panoramic viewpoint. Overnight stay is at a hotel with breakfast included.
In the morning, you head south towards the Merzouga Desert. Along the way, you make several stops. First is Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco. Next is the cedar forest, where you can see Barbary apes in their natural habitat. After lunch in Midelt, you continue through the scenic Ziz Valley. You arrive at the Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga by late afternoon and check into a hotel with views of the Sahara.
Today offers a relaxing immersion into Saharan village life. You will visit nomadic families who still live in the desert and share a glass of tea with them. Lunch features a Berber pizza, a local specialty. In the late afternoon, you begin a camel ride into the dunes. You will watch the sunset from atop a high dune before reaching the desert camp, where you spend the night under the stars.
Wake early to witness a spectacular sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, you ride camels or take a jeep back to Merzouga village. Your journey continues towards the Dades Valley. Along the way, you stop at the Todra Valley and its dramatic gorges for photos. You will spend the night at a hotel in the Dades Valley.
After breakfast, you drive towards Marrakech. The route includes a visit to the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a fortified village built in the 17th century. You then cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass, reaching an altitude of 2,260 meters. Along the way, you visit a women’s argan oil cooperative to learn about its production and benefits. You continue to Marrakech, where you will spend the night.
Today you explore the best of Marrakech with a local guide. The tour covers the Koutoubia Mosque, the Ben Youssef Koranic School, the Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace, and the Majorelle Gardens. It is recommended to book tickets for the gardens online in advance. The afternoon is free for you to explore the Medina independently. You will spend the night in a traditional riad or hotel within the Medina.
This is the final day of your 10-day Moroccan journey. In the morning, you depart from Marrakech and drive approximately three hours to Casablanca Airport. You will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight, marking the end of our services.

If you prefer not to ride a camel, we can arrange for a 4×4 vehicle to take you to and from the desert camp so you can still enjoy the sunset and sunrise.
Pack comfortable clothes, sturdy walking shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat for the daytime. Evenings and early mornings in the desert and mountains can be very cold, especially from October to April. Warm layers, a jacket, and a scarf are essential.
