Your desert adventure starts in the late afternoon. You will meet us in the village, where you can securely park your car and pack a small overnight bag for the desert. Your camel will be waiting to carry you into the heart of the Erg Chebbi dunes.
The trek takes approximately 90 minutes. We time it perfectly for you to witness one of Morocco’s most spectacular sunsets, watching the colors change over the endless sea of sand. Along the way, we pause for photos and, if you are feeling adventurous, you can try sandboarding down the dunes.
As dusk settles, we continue to our desert camp. You will be greeted with traditional mint tea and warm Berber hospitality. As a Berber family, we take pride in sharing our authentic culture with guests. You will settle into your private tent before enjoying a delicious home-cooked Moroccan dinner. Afterwards, gather around a crackling campfire for an evening of live Berber drumming under a breathtaking canopy of stars.
We recommend an early start to watch the magnificent sunrise paint the silent dunes in golden light. Following this magical moment, a hearty breakfast and hot showers await you back at the camp.
Once you are ready, you can choose your return journey: ride the camels back to the village, or opt for a comfortable 4×4 transfer directly from the camp.
