This full-day excursion from Marrakech takes you to the stunning Ouzoud Waterfalls, the tallest and most impressive waterfalls in Morocco. You will travel through the Atlas Mountains, visiting traditional villages and the remarkable natural bridge of Imi N’Ifri. Upon reaching the falls, you will explore cascading waters from multiple viewpoints, encounter Barbary monkeys, and enjoy lunch with panoramic views. Free time for swimming is available during summer months.
Day Trip from Marrakech to Ouzoud Waterfalls
Your day outing to Ouzoud Waterfalls begins at 8:00 AM from your riad in Marrakech. You travel by car towards the Atlas Mountains, passing through Sidi Rhal village and other small settlements before reaching Demnat, an old mountain town.
From there, you leave the main road to visit Imi N’Ifri, a natural bridge classified as a site of biological and ecological interest. This is one of the most visited sites in the area, and you will explore it with a local guide.
You then continue your journey to the Ouzoud Waterfalls, the largest and most spectacular waterfalls in Morocco, located in the Middle Atlas Mountains. Upon arrival, you take a small path down to the falls, arriving around lunchtime. You will eat at a restaurant overlooking the waterfalls with wonderful views.
After lunch, you explore the waterfalls with a local guide. You will discover the beauty of the cascading falls from different paths, with contrasting views. You may also encounter local inhabitants, including mountain monkeys. Free time is provided for swimming during the summer months.
At the end of the visit, you return to your vehicle and drive back to Marrakech, arriving around 7:00 PM.
