This 10-day one-way journey begins in Tangier and ends in Casablanca, offering a comprehensive exploration of Morocco’s diverse regions. You will discover the blue-washed streets of Chefchaouen, the Roman ruins of Volubilis, and the imperial cities of Meknes and Fes. The tour includes a camel trek into the Sahara Desert, a night in a luxury desert camp, and visits to the dramatic Todra Gorges and the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou Kasbah. You will cross the High Atlas Mountains and explore the vibrant city of Marrakech before concluding with a visit to Casablanca’s iconic Hassan II Mosque.
Upon your arrival at the Tangier airport or port, your driver will be waiting to greet you. Your exploration begins with a visit to the Kasbah, followed by a walk through the bustling Medina, where you’ll discover the unique blend of Spanish and Moroccan culture that defines this coastal city. You will spend the night in Tangier.
After breakfast, you drive through the scenic Rif Mountains. You arrive in Chefchaouen, the famous blue town of Morocco. You will explore its narrow streets, photograph the blue-washed houses, and enjoy a calm evening in the Medina. Overnight stay in Chefchaouen.
You leave Chefchaouen and head towards Fes. Along the way, you stop at Volubilis to explore the ancient Roman ruins. You then visit Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities, to see its historic sites. By afternoon, you arrive in Fes and check into your riad. Overnight in Fes.
You spend the full day exploring Fes, one of the oldest cities in the world. Your visit includes the famous tanneries, the Al Quaraouiyine University, and various artisan workshops. The Medina is rich with history, culture, and traditional markets. Overnight in Fes.
Today you travel towards the Sahara Desert. Along the way, you stop in Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco. You pass through cedar forests where you can see Barbary monkeys. The journey continues through the Ziz Valley before you arrive in Merzouga. In the evening, you ride camels into the golden dunes and watch the sunset. You will spend the night in a luxury desert camp under the stars.
Wake early to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, you ride camels back to the village. You then drive to the Todra Gorges, a spectacular canyon where you can take a short walk. You continue to the Dades Valley for dinner and overnight at a traditional guesthouse.
Departing the Dades Valley, you’ll pass through the Rose Valley and Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Morocco. A key stop is Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site that has featured in many international films. Later, crossing the High Atlas Mountains, you’ll arrive in Marrakech by evening for your overnight stay.
You enjoy a guided tour of Marrakech, Morocco’s red city. Your visit includes Jemaa el-Fna square, the Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia Mosque, and the Majorelle Garden. You walk through the Medina and its souks, filled with colors, spices, and local crafts. Overnight in Marrakech.
Driving to Casablanca, Morocco’s economic capital, you’ll visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest in the world. Afterwards, take a leisurely walk along the Corniche, enjoying views of the Atlantic Ocean. Your overnight stay will be in Casablanca.
After breakfast, your driver transfers you to Casablanca Airport for your departure flight. This marks the end of your 10-day Moroccan tour.

If you prefer not to ride a camel, we can arrange for a 4×4 vehicle to take you to and from the desert camp so you can still enjoy the sunset and sunrise.
Pack comfortable clothes, sturdy walking shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat for the daytime. Evenings and early mornings in the desert and mountains can be very cold, especially from October to April. Warm layers, a jacket, and a scarf are essential.

The tour covers a significant distance with varying road conditions. We take a scenic route with multiple stops for photos, lunch, and breaks. The drive is broken up over three days with plenty of sightseeing along the way.
